Strategic and tactical consulting

A cycle the operator can actually implement

Strategy without tactics stays in the deck. Tactics without a licence frame end in a complaint from compliance. We take the operator from market choice, through acquisition channels, to retention and team cost, inside the licence they already hold or have applied for.

Entry and scale

Markets, entry, scaling

Judging a jurisdiction is not just the tax rate. What counts is the availability of payment methods, licence timing, advertising rules, responsible-gambling requirements, and whether the local player uses an online offer at all. We build a matrix: cost of entry, time to first deposit, banking risks, and what cannot be “delivered by an affiliate”.

When scaling, we check whether the current stack, payments team and CRM model will hold a second and a third market, or whether operations have to be split first. The recommendation has a date, a budget and a list of decisions the board must take, not a list of trends.

Acquisition

Marketing and affiliate programmes

The operator’s budget goes into media and the affiliate programme, and a fraction of it reaches payments. The reason often sits in the payment method on the operator’s site, in an offer that does not match the market, or in a settlement that rewards registration alone. We break the channels down: paid, SEO where the licence allows it, the affiliate programme and the direct channel.

For the affiliate programme we set the rules: traffic quality, banned markets, brand bidding, and a settlement that does not stop at registration. For media we count channel cost through to a conversion the operator may report under the licence, not through to a click. We do not run consumer campaigns and we do not work outside a licence.

Retention

Segmentation, CRM, retention

An operator CRM that sends one message to the whole base raises cost and drifts away from the licence. We segment by payment method, settlement frequency, product (casino, betting, lottery) and AML signal. Only then do we match a message and a limit that fits the operator’s terms.

Automation watches the windows after the first completed payment, after a failed payout and after a long absence, in line with responsible-gambling rules. The aim is to keep a user who has passed KYC, not to buy another batch of cheap traffic.

Organisation

Processes, teams, cost

Player support, payments, risk and marketing often work from four different definitions of a “successful deposit”. We audit the flow from registration to payout: who decides, what the SLA is, where a ticket disappears. Then we cut duplicated roles and tools that nobody closes.

Cost does not fall because of cuts made “on a feeling”. It falls when payment routing, the vendor list and the KYC queue stop generating manual work. We deliver a process map and an order of changes that can be done with the current headcount.
